FC Barcelona

1.       Espana Motors Limited (t/a CUPRA New Zealand) of 1 Nixon Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021 (Promoter) is conducting a competition whereby a natural person (Entrant) who has made a qualifying entry (Entry) has the opportunity to win a prize (Prize) based on a random draw.

2.       To qualify as an Entrant a person must:
a. provide their correct name and contact details to the Promoter;
b. be eligible to drive under New Zealand law;
c. be 25 years old or older;
d. be lawfully resident in New Zealand; and
e. not be an employee, or an immediate family member of an employee, of the Promoter (or any of its related companies).

3.       To participate in this competition, an Entrant:
a. must complete the ‘Entry Form’ on the CUPRA New Zealand website (which will grant the Entrant 1 Entry).
b. may complete a test drive of a CUPRA vehicle at an official CUPRA garage in New Zealand after submitting the ‘Entry Form’ (which will grant the Entrant a further 10 Entries); and
c. may purchase the vehicle that was so test driven (which will grant the Entrant a further 100 Entries).
An Entrant will not be able to gain additional Entries by completing any of the entry requirements above more than once. (i.e. a maximum total of 111 entries per Entrant is available).

4.       The competition will run between 00:01 hours 04.02.2025 and 23.59 hours 31.03.2025. No Entry received by the Promoter outside of this time will be eligible to participate.

5.       The competition will be determined by random draw of a single winner from all of the Entries and will be conducted on or about 08.04.25. The winner will be contacted by phone using the contact details provided on the Entry Form.

6.       If a winner cannot be contacted within two days using the contact information provided in the Entry Form, the Promoter may (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) conduct another random draw and award the Prize to a different winner.

7.       The Prize is:
a. Return flights for two people from New Zealand to Barcelona.
b. A tour through Barcelona driving the latest CUPRA Leon and Formentor models.
c. Two tickets to see FC Barcelona take on Real Madrid in Barcelona.
d. Four-star hotel accommodation during your stay.

8.       The Promoter will be responsible for delivery of the Prize. In the event that, for factors outside of the Promoter’s control, it becomes unreasonable or impossible for the Promoter to deliver the Prize, the Promoter will be entitled to substitute the Prize with a prize that it deems, in its sole discretion, to be equivalent to the Prize. If the winner does not accept the substituted prize, the Promoter will be entitled to conduct the competition again.

9.       The Prize does not include travel insurance, food, or beverages or costs associated with visa applications. The winner will be responsible for arranging and covering these costs at their own expense.

10.       The Prize is not transferable by the winner and is not redeemable for cash.

11.    In the event of a dispute regarding the validity of an Entry or any other aspect of the competition, the Promoter’s decision is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into.

12.    Subject to condition 12 below, the Promoter and its respective associated agencies, companies and employees shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, for indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained by any person directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may result from winning the prize package.

13.    Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any person’s rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

14.    Entry into the promotion constitutes consent by the Entrant for the Entrant’s personal information being collected, used, held and disclosed in accordance with the CUPRA privacy policy available at https://www.cupraofficial.co.nz/legal-note#privacy-policy without qualification, including for any promotional purposes connected with the competition. The Entrant waives any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.

15.    By completing an Entry form and entering into this competition, the Entrant accepts these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to require the winner to sign a declaration confirming their eligibility to accept the Prize and to verify their identity. If a winner asserts that it has not accepted these terms and conditions, the winner will forfeit the Prize and the Promoter will conduct another random draw.

16.    The Promoter reserves the right to extend, postpone, or cancel the competition in whole or in part, at any time, if it is affected by circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control. This includes, but is not limited to, factors such as the failure of external third-party agencies to deliver the Prize, the cancellation or postponement of the football game, pandemics, extreme weather events, natural disasters, strikes, force majeure, or any other unforeseen events that may compromise the delivery of the Prize. The Promotor will provide notice through the Promoter's official website and direct email. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered or incurred by any participant as a result of the cancellation, modification, or postponement of the competition.
